I figured you might need a good laugh today!

I don’t know about you but sometimes I have so much on my plate that I am super serious and focused.

There have been times when I am so wrapped up in my list of to-do’s that I didn’t take time to just laugh.

Good thing I have a husband and kids who love to laugh and remind me when I am being too serious and that it is time to laugh. They like to send me silly videos or silly meme’s to ensure I get my daily dosage of laughs in.

I am a firm believer that laughter is a powerful tool for promoting physical health, emotional well-being, and social connections.

Adding a little humor into your everyday life is one of the most effective ways to recharge your batteries and develop more optimism.

When was the last time you truly laughed out loud? Adding a little laughter to your day can do wonders for your mood.

Did you know that laughter alone can:

  • Reduce Stress
  • Improve Your Mood
  • Enhance Your Immune System
  • Provide Pain Relief (laughter releases tension and relaxes our muscles)
  • Has Cardiovascular Benefits
  • Encourages Social Bonding
…and so so so much more!!

Spending just 5-10 minutes each day to watch something funny on YouTube, or to listen to a funny podcast can lift your spirits. You may also want to read and/or subscribe to funny comics online daily.

Other options you may want to consider include, viewing funny memes, reciting a humorous short quote, listening to a comedian’s short story, or even simply by watching people.

These are just a few ways you can implement self-love in your life but the more you care for and love yourself, the happier and more fulfilled you will be.

One of the YouTube channels that my husband came across that I find absolutely hilarious and is totally relatable to the season of life I am currently in is one called, Holderness Family Laughs.

Today, I hope you find a few minutes in your crazy life to watch the video and have a good laugh.

Hint: If you shop at Costco, you will most certainly relate to this hilarious video.

With laughter,

If you’re interested in learning more about how to incorporate self-love into your life and achieve greater fulfillment, here are a few ways I can support you:

P.S. Can’t find anything humorous in your situation? Try to remember something your kid told you that made you laugh or a funny movie your watched.

P.S. My favorite thing to laugh at is myself when I make a silly mistake or do something clumsy. I quit taking myself so seriously. I invite you to do the same.
