Essential Oils and their magic. Have you ever tried to these when you are feeling anxious?

I have been a huge fan of essential oils for many years! Do you use them?

A couple of years ago I started learning about the benefits of essential oils and how they help me with my gut issues, anxiety, panic attacks, immune system, etc.

I also learned about the parasympathetic nervous system. You see, I had been living in fight-in-flight mode for so long. It was affecting my everyday life and causing some big panic attacks.

It was so bad that I couldn’t do everything things we need to do in life. It also affected my work because I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t even know how to prioritize my work anymore. Everyone and everything was gasping for my attention.

Then I find out about the parasympathetic nervous system and how it affects so much of our well being. The parasympathetic nervous system is a network of nerves that relaxes your body after periods of stress or danger. It also helps run life-sustaining processes, like digestion, during times when you feel safe and relaxed.

I also learned about the vagus nerves. Vagus nerves are the main nerves of your parasympathetic nervous system. This system controls specific body functions such as digestion, heart rate, and immune system. These functions are involuntary, meaning you can’t consciously control them.

There were times I had no idea what could help me calm down and get out of overwhelm.

It was essential oils that activated my vagus nerves and took me from fight-or-flight mode to calming my anxious brain!

What is cool about essential oils is that they are fat-soluble oils and don’t need your digestion system to be in top-notch shape to work.

They absorb STRAIGHT into your skin!

And into your bloodstream.

And sneak right past the blood-brain barrier to impact your brain and start working immediately.
